Self love, a world within

In this fast-growing world, where things flash by our eyes sometimes as a touch or like lightning of emotions. They say that the world is progressing towards stabilization, but it leaves people uncertain, unsteady and unsettled. We often question ourselves regarding our bodies, value, worth, emotions and actions .we think of consequences and regret things we never get to say. Many of us find it hard to adjust or 'fit in', the term that is broadly used. well, there is no need to fit in, you just need to learn and implement the concept of self-love. It takes time and patience to master this skill but once acquired, can make you comfortable with yourself and your surroundings. It's like a world within, the world we seem to neglect the most. We dump our emotions and doubts and never care to sort it out, or just the thought of reorganizing or recollecting them makes us anxious. I am not saying that you can read a few things on how to develop self-love and combat life and its atrocities at a phenomenal speed and intensity. It would at least give you an idea about where to invest your thoughts and energy. It might take a life long time to know what it is and how to incorporate it into our conscious mind, but we have to start from somewhere.

Here are a few ways through which I have learned to accept and love myself, I still lack the total self-confidence and self-love concept but these are my trail methods which I found effective and working on, to fully incorporate it. It takes time but it's worth it.

1.NEVER JUDGE :

We seem to assume that just because a person performs well, looks great and laughs all the time he or she are living the best life and you who find it difficult to cope up and then you start doubting yourself if you'll ever do something great and if you have any talents or not. just know that everyone you meet is a fighting a battle we know nothing about and they are no different than us, Hence we shouldn't judge them as ideal beings and then compare ourselves to them and rank ourselves against them. We shouldn't judge ourselves too, cause you can't judge something about which you're not fully aware. And I do believe we know very little about ourselves.
SKAM !!!
2.BE KIND TO YOURSELF:

we often tend to be harsh towards ourselves, blaming and doubting our self-worth and emotions . some of us spend an entire life looking after everyone else except ourselves, Realise your worth and reward yourself with a meal or a compliment anytime you succeed to perform a particular task about which you were unsure and petrified. It's okay to lay around somedays doing absolutely nothing and not being progressive. So love yourself the way you love others.

3.GET RID OF TOXIC PEOPLE:

Now when I say toxic people it need not necessarily mean the people whom you don't like or who don't like you. Sometimes these toxic people are those whom you refer to as friends, family, and lovers. These are the people whom you love and care but sometimes in this love and emotions you get tangled up and end up hurting yourself. people who claim to be your friends joke about you and might make you feel insecure. they are never there for you but pretend to care and so you end up thinking it's normal and that all the 'I love yous' and 'sorrys' at the end seems genuine to you. But in course of time, these people will degrade you and make you feel worthless and depressed. so any time you feel someone is being fake and playing with your emotions leave them. only then you can give yourself some time to reflect on your personal growth.

4.INDULGE IN ART:

Art is an escape as well as a means to fight against anything that disturbs our mental peace and health. It can be music. painting. poetry, writing. singing, dancing or anything that is confined to the boundaries of art. This can actually help you build self-love for there is no prejudice in art . its a platform where you can write your pain and insecurities in the most beautiful manner and make people feel something from it. so it turns something that you think of as a flaw into something that feels divine.

5.BELIEVE IN YOURSELF:

there will be times when you would want to believe everything they say. because they speak in masses and you end up becoming their thoughts. but hold on ! take a deep breath, just know that no one has the right to make assumptions about you and even if they do, you shouldn't listen to them for no one, except you have the audacity to put a name on your personality, perspective and actions. so on days like these put your head high and believe in yourself and your worth. you are not what they think of you, their thoughts don't determine you rather reflect their own perspective and thoughts. Believe in yourself even when no one does.
